This process allows for and corrects variations in spelling (e.g. IBM vs. International Business Machines), formats, trade names and addresses, and executives data from disparate sources (e.g. a local business license, a central 10K filing, and a Yellow Pages listing) with the appropriate D&B record. D&B then produces a single, more accurate picture of each business.
